BMS PTA NOMINATING COMMITTEE SEEKING MEMBERS
The BMS PTA Nominating Committee is looking for volunteers to work on putting together the PTA slate for 2018-19. The committee will meet 2 to 3 times between January and mid-April to nominate candidates to fill open positions on the Executive and General PTA Boards for the 2018-19 school year. We need parent volunteers from both the current 6th and 7th grades to represent all of our grade levels at BMS. NAVIGATING YOUR CHILD’S IEP
Understanding your child’s IEP can be difficult. This presentation given by a panel of WPS administrators will bring you through the document so that you are able to better participate in the Planning and Placement Team meeting.

Grade 8 Parent Night for Special Education - Transition Information Meeting : There will be an informational evening meeting for parents of Grade 8 students to review special education programming at Staples. A panel of special education teachers and related services staff will present an overview of the continuum of services and supports provided. We will review the transition and PPT process that will take place this spring. There will be time at the end of the presentation for your questions.
