During the most recent Bedford Middle School faculty meeting, six student representatives from the BMS Spirit and Leadership Committee—Caroline Pfeffer, Michaela Friedman, Maddie D’Angelo, Sophia Sikander, Haley Wenitsky, and Camille Crocombe—presented two school-wide initiatives designed to strengthen community spirit and connection.

The students introduced the upcoming 5 Days of Spirit, which will include participation in CT Children’s PJ Day for Kids on December 19. They also shared plans for this year’s school-wide door-decorating activity, an annual tradition that encourages creativity, collaboration, and a sense of belonging among students and staff.

The presentation highlighted the committee’s commitment to amplifying student voice and fostering a positive, inclusive school culture. Their leadership will help guide both projects as BMS heads into the winter season.
