Delays & Early Closings

The fastest and most information on school closings and delays can be obtained by calling 341-1766. If schools are cancelled or delayed, that information is usually on the emergency line (341-1766) by 6:00 a.m.

The Superintendent may call for a one, two, or three hour delay depending on the circumstances. Early dismissals are at 1:00. The details regarding the change will be announced on the emergency phone line, the district webpage under Important District News, and through SchoolMessenger.

The radio and TV stations listed below carry announcements of delayed school opening or closing. If the station is not listed, it receives no information from the Westport Public Schools:
